Patriot Robotics is proud to present the Gene Haas Scholarship. The primary goal of the Gene Haas Foundation is to build and promote skills in the machining industry by providing scholarships to students who focus on CNC machining technology and Engineering.

Applications Open:
March 12 - April 12th
Amount: $500-$1000
Eligibility: High School Seniors who are members of the Iron Patriots FRC Team 4135
GPA Minimum: 3.0 weighted 
Financial Needs Requirement: No
Career/Major Requirement: Machinist-Based Training Program or an Engineering Program at a 4-year University.

Criteria:  Participation in the Iron Patriots FRC robotics team. Consideration will be given to the length of time on the team, as well as leadership roles and team impact, and weighted GPA. 

This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are members of the Iron Patriot FRC team 4135 based out of Beyer High School. The scholarship is for current high school seniors who will be pursuing an Engineering degree OR enrolling in a machine technology program in the 2024/2025 school year. 

Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, books, and small personal tools that are required by the program. 

Multiple awards will be granted for Fall 2024 and will range from $500 to $1000 per student. 

Application opens March 12th, 2024. To be considered for this award, students must apply by 5 pm on April 12th, 2024. Awards will be announced in mid April 2024.
