​STEP 1 - Team Roster (ALL new & returning students)

STEP 2  - Join Remind (Parents and Students)
Join Remind for text updates from the coach. All student team members AND parents/guardians should join to receive important information and updates. 
To join the Remind for the FRC Iron Patriots team, send a text to the number 81010 with the message "@frc4135"

STEP 4 - Register on FIRST (Parents & Students)

New Families - Parents should create an account BEFORE the Student!

New Parent 

  • FIRST Registration

  • Use the Register link in the top right. Use your own name and information, not your student's. 

    • **If your student signed up on FIRST before you did and provided your email, you will need to sign in but click 'forgot password' and then follow the link in your email to set a password and set up your account.

  • Confirm your account and then log in to your account and agree to all of the pop-up agreements.

  • Go to the' Parent/Guardian Youth' tab and then click 'Add a Youth', enter your child's information, email address, school info as prompted.  Sign the consent and release form.

  • You do not need to apply to a team, your student will do that from their account.

New Student 

  • If you parent has already signed up, go to the FIRST site and sign in with the email address your parent provided. Click on 'forgot password' and follow the instructions in your email to set a password.

  • Request to join a team from your dashboard. The team is #4135.

  • If your parent has NOT signed up, follow the parent instructions above, and FIRST will send an email to your parent to set up an account and sign your consent form.

​Returning Parents

  • Log into your FIRST account. From your dashboard go to the 'Parent/Guardian Youth' tab and then under the 'Youth Options' dropdown you can choose to sign the consent form.

STEP 5 - Beyer/Modesto City Schools Forms​

  • Parent Driver Form Required if you will be volunteering to drive students to competitions or outreach events. Return to Beyer Office with copy of drivers license AND insurance declaration page. MCS requires 100/300/100 coverage. 


STEP 6 - Support the Teams!

  • We have sponsorship forms if you know of any corporate sponsors or generous local businesses.

  • Please be on the look-out for sign up sheets for drivers, food donations, and fundraising opportunities throughout the year
