The build season has been completed and this is the first year in our existence that we've actually had time to practice with the robot! It took all our efforts to build the robot, as well as to assemble the components that accompany it, including the programming, mock-ups, and team award nominations and presentations. We cannot thank every member, teacher, and mentor enough for all their hard work and dedication. Good luck teams! See you all at Sac!
(See you boys in Boise!) Yesterday our business team went to Great Valley Academy to talk to Ms. Herrington, the robotics teacher, about starting a FIRST Lego League (FLL) team. We hope to help her and her school not only establish, but fund and run this team by sharing ideas for fundraising and offering our mentor-ship. While FLL is new to most of us on the team, we are willing to learn more about it to give the rookie team the best start possible.
Our FTC Team is in full gear, getting ready for the new season. The Presentation Team has several presentations lined up in the next few months, the Business Team is working on our notebook, website and social media sites. Our design team has some great ideas and our robot is starting to come together.
